| The
Office of Personnel Management (OPM) was alerted by an employee
of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of a potential
scam being perpetrated against Federal government employees.
Employees at DHS were contacted by an individual representing
himself as working for Bynum Associates. This individual claims
to be collecting information, perhaps on behalf of OPM, from
Federal employees in reference to their retirement. The information

not contracted with Bynum Associates or any other contractor
at this time to collect information of this nature from Federal
employees.
