PBGC's Incentives and Compensation Flexibilities Program To Recruit and Retain a Qualified Workforce Was Administered Inconsistently (Aud-2014-10/PA-12-86), issued September 30, 2014

We completed an audit of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) administration of incentive awards related to recruiting and retaining a qualified workforce. We assessed compliance with statutes, regulations, and OPM policies and procedures and determined if PBGC's controls around these programs were in place and operating effectively. This report contains three findings and six recommendations. PBGC disagreed with the findings in this report, but we are pleased to report the Corporation has begun taking action to correct the weaknesses identified by OIG.
