OIG Special Report – PBGC Security Assessment Report (SR-2021-04), issued December 23, 2020

During the financial statement audit, OIG’s contracted independent public accountant, Ernst and Young, assessed PBGC’s network for technical weaknesses that may allow employees or outsiders to cause harm or impact PBGC’s business processes and information. This report includes no formal recommendations as they are consolidated and presented in the FY2020 FISMA report. The Office of Inspector General has determined that this report is for official use only. The report detailing the security assessment has been redacted in its entirety because it contains privileged and confidential information.
